HOST A FOOD AS MEDICINE EVENT
Bring Health, Nutrition & Food Access to Your Community
Partner with Shifa Free Clinic to bring Food as Medicine directly to the people you serve. Schools, faith communities, community organizations, workplaces, and other partners can host us for a nutrition workshop, community health fair, healthy food distribution—or combine services to create a larger wellness event.
❤️ HOST A COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR
Give your community access to preventive health education and screenings. Depending on the event, services may include diabetes risk assessment, blood glucose or A1C screening, blood pressure checks, nutrition education, and connections to follow-up care and community resources.
🥕 HOST A HEALTHY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Partner with us to improve access to nutritious food while connecting families with health and nutrition resources. Food distributions can be combined with brief nutrition education, healthy recipes, screenings, and information about available services.
🥗 HOST A NUTRITION WORKSHOP
Bring practical, interactive nutrition education to your community. Participants learn skills they can use every day, including reading nutrition labels, building balanced meals, making healthier food choices, and eating well on a budget.
