FOOD AS MEDICINE

PROGRAM HUB

Your one stop hub for training, tools and resources to inspire healthy choices and improve lives

About the Reading Nutrition label Series

The Reading Nutrition Labels Series includes ten stand-alone 3–5 minute education sessions. While each session can be delivered independently, presenting them in the recommended order helps participants progressively build their knowledge and confidence in reading food labels.

Together, these sessions provide a step-by-step approach to understanding the Nutrition Facts Label and Ingredient List, empowering participants to compare foods, recognize healthier choices, and make informed decisions that support their health goals.

Whether delivered in a clinic waiting room, food pantry, community event, or outreach setting, these quick conversations reinforce healthy eating habits and encourage participants to continue learning through the Food as Medicine program.
