Imagine fleeing your home country with 2 pieces of luggage, leaving behind loved ones and cherished memories only to be faced with rebuilding your life again for both you and your children. This was the situation faced by countless families who required fundamental necessities such as food, housing, employment, and transportation. For over 21 years, ICNA Relief has been instrumental in assisting refugees in rebuilding their lives through essential services, including housing,  English language class placement, job counseling and also when accepted, job placement.

ICNA Relief provides more than just resources; it offers a pathway to self-sufficiency, fostering a spirit of hard work and dedication. Our goal is for refugee families to achieve independence without relying on others for assistance. After initially providing shelter and covering rent for the first month(s), we actively encourage our assigned refugee families to find a job, and connect them with referral agencies to facilitate their new lives in the United States.  We recieve calls daily to assist with benefit enrollment.
