Hunger Prevention

We operate 2 food pantries in East Massachusetts, both serving Halal food at no cost to our clients. Registration for eligibility is required as per federal guidelines, and this is done by sending an email to newengland@icnarelief.org for in-person office appointment. 

Our food pantry in Boston is located at Parking Lot #1, 1234 Columbus Ave, Boston every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Distribution is either walk-in or drive-through, starting at 12 noon.

Our food pantry in Lowell is located at rear building, 99 Church St, Lowell. Currently only runs every 3rd Saturday.

We offer a variety of food options (such as fresh produce) for those in need including:

• Non-Perishable Grocery Items
• Fresh Produce
• Halal Meat vouchers
• Snack Packs (occasional)

Volunteers is always needed for:

• Foodbank pickups; must be able to lift 50lbs
• Food distribution packing; all ages welcomed.
• Delivery drivers; Lowell only
• Label and organize Udhiya (seasonal)

Annually we do Udhiya distribution to eligible families; from Rhode Island to Maine. If your Masjid wants to get Udhiya AND have eligible families to receive them, please reach out to newengland@icnarelief.org
