I’m Erica Figueroa. Born in Florida, USA but raised in PR since I was 3 years old by my grandparents (mom side). I have 2 older sisters. Elizabeth and Emilia. Growing up I loved all related to medical field. At the age of 22, married and 3 children, I graduated of EMT and start working in the field for two years. We move to South Carolina in 2010 and stayed at home to raised and homeschool my children. 2016 I started working as a store manager, then accomplished few small goals in life until I met members and volunteers of Shifa Clinics in a Health Fair and the opportunity to live my passion to help and serve the community showed up. Now I’m getting trained as CHW- Community Health Worker.
