Shifa Clinic\u00a0<\/span>Duluth\u00a0<\/span>is a project of ICNA Relief USA, a non-profit organization<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0provid<\/span>ing\u00a0<\/span>free health care services to the uninsured and under-insured residents of Georgia. Since 2008,\u00a0<\/span>we are<\/span>\u00a0offering primary care, sub-specialty care<\/span>\u00a0in cardiology, pediatric,\u00a0<\/span>ob.<\/span>\/gyn<\/span>,<\/span> orthopedics, <\/span>psychiatrics<\/span>, onco<\/span>logy<\/span>\/hematology, and many more.<\/span>\u00a0We also provide discounted\u00a0<\/span>lab service<\/span>\u00a0to our patients in partnership with Quest Diagnostics. In addition,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>we provide free\u00a0<\/span>Ultrasonography<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>EKG<\/span>, and flu vaccine shoots.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>We have treated over five thousand patients during past one decade\u00a0<\/span>with\u00a0<\/span>over fifteen thousand medical visits. The clinic is registered under Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP) of Department of Public Health. Twenty volunteers physicians and fifty volunteer students including nurses, technicians<\/span>, premed and medical students\u00a0<\/span>work in the clinic.<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0<\/span>clinic<\/span>\u00a0is fully digitalized with online\u00a0<\/span>patient\u00a0<\/span>registration<\/span>\u00a0and appointment system<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>electronic medical record, sophisticate tele-medicine program, online lab service, e-prescription and many more. He is a medical doctor trained in Ophthalmology in Bangladesh and studied Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA) at the Strayer University. He joined ICNA Relief in June 2018. Before joining ICNA Relief he was the Regional Program Director for Asia of ORBIS International (www.orbis.org) where he led the blindness prevention programs for fifteen years. He designed and implemented the regional childhood blindness program in Asia that served millions of children in the region.
