Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
The admin assistant will be responsible for all administrative tasks of both the clinic and pantry as well as assisting
the manager with the day-to-day functions. Tasks will include, but not limited to:
• All administrative duties associated with the office
• Greet patients & registration – verify and update information
• Assist patients with initial paperwork & maintaining health record
• Schedule and coordinate appointments (clinic and pantry)
• Answer patient’s queries and ensure quality service
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations, schedule tests and order supplies
• Answer phone calls and triage calls
• Filing, copying, faxing, scanning, and data entry
• Keep record of referrals and make follow up calls to doctor office to check on status
• Assist in additional clerical duties as needed
• Responsible for scheduling, following-up and recruiting volunteers (including physicians) on a weekly
basis.
• Outreach to local hospitals, medical facilities, and non-profit organizations to establish partnerships and
shared resources.
• Responsible for all operations related to pantry (including inventory, outreach, maintaining data bank)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience working in a clinical administrative setting highly preferred.

2. Ability to multitask effectively and excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
