ICNA Relief New York’s Women’s Transitional Housing program provides safe, supportive shelter to women facing homelessness, domestic violence, or other crises. In a city as fast-paced as New York, many women find themselves with nowhere to turn. Our program gives them not just a roof but a pathway to healing, independence, and self-sufficiency.

Our transitional homes in New York offer more than just temporary shelter. We provide a dignified, structured, and faith-sensitive environment where women can stabilize their lives, regain confidence, and plan for the future. Each resident is supported with case management, life skills training, and access to employment and education resources.

ICNA Relief New York’s Women’s Housing Program is designed to uplift vulnerable women by addressing the root causes of instability and empowering long-term change:

• Holistic care: Residents receive emotional support, one-on-one case management, and referrals to health and legal services.
• Faith-sensitive environment: Homes are designed with respect for religious and cultural values, providing spiritual comfort and dignity.
• Life rebuilding: We help women pursue GEDs, job training, or employment opportunities while living in a stable environment.
• Domestic violence support: Many of our residents are survivors of abuse—our program offers them safety, compassion, and a second chance.
• Community reintegration: We assist with long-term housing plans so women can successfully transition to permanent independence.
