Our Mission
ICNA Relief New York seeks to alleviate human suffering by providing caring and compassionate service to victims of adversities and survivors of disasters. We strive to build healthy communities, strengthen families, and create opportunities for those in despair while maintaining their dignity and advocating for their basic human needs.

Hunger Prevention
Through six active food pantries located all over NYC. In 2023, we served over 100,000 individuals. Our outreach included hot meal distributions, Ramadan and Eid Blessing Bags, and Qurbani meat distributions, ensuring that families receive what they need.
Transitional Housing
We offer a safe and supportive environment for up to 25 women and children. These homes provide not only shelter but also comprehensive case management, life skills training, and job placement assistance. We empower women on their journey toward independence and stability.
Back2School Project
In 2024, ICNA Relief New York hosted 54 Back2School events across the city, distributing essential school supplies to over 6,000 students in partnership with 20 local schools. Each child received backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and pens, helping them start the academic year with confidence.
Refugee Services
In 2023, we assisted more than 500 refugees in transitioning to life in the U.S. Our programs include case management, ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, cultural orientation, and mental health support.
