The most dangerous storm to hit the Carolinas in 30 years

Hurricane Florence is set to be the most dangerous storm to hit the Carolinas in 30 years. It is expected to cause “life-threatening storm surge and rainfall.” ICNA Relief is allotting $100,000 towards responding to this storm. The Disaster Response Team has been deployed from Houston to provide relief to those affected and will enter the area when it is safe to do so.
The following services will also be offered:
  • ICNA Relief in cooperation with local mosques have set up temporary shelters for hurricane evacuees in GA, SC, NC. For more information, email florence@icnarelief.org.
  • ICNA Relief has partnered with APPNA to deploy two mobile clinics into the affected areas.
  • Two ICNA Relief trucks containing food and toiletries will be sent to the affected areas once it is safe to do so.
