ICNA Relief Organizing Georgia, North & South Carolina Mosques As

Shelters for Evacuees Fleeing Hurricane Florence,

Commits $100,000 to Relief Efforts

Starting 9/13 through to the end of the storm, twelve mosques across GA will serve as temporary shelters and four mosques will offer logistical support for evacuees and others fleeing Hurricane Florence.

Hotline for shelter at participating mosques call the hotline (770) 558-3519 or contact florence@icnarelief.org. See list below.

ICNA Relief is a member of NVOAD (National Organization of Voluntary Organizations) and helping FEMA.

It is organizing hurricane relief efforts, directing evacuees to mosques for shelter, collecting supplies and distributing them to the mosques serving as shelters.

We are also equipping mosques to offer logistical support to evacuees, including registration forms, guidelines and safety, departure procedures, and exit forms.

Our Disaster Relief Team will deploy for the Carolinas when it is safe to do so.

ICNA Relief, in partnership with APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America) will deploy two mobile clinics.

Two ICNA Relief trucks will deliver food items and toiletries to the disaster-affected areas once the storm has passed.
