Br. Maqsood Ahmad serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ICNA Relief USA. He has a background in civil engineering with a specialization in planning and water resource management. He completed his master’s degree from Georgia Tech in Civil Engineering. He was ICNA Relief’s Head of Operations during Hurricane Katrina, which was the second disaster responded to by a fledgling ICNA Relief. Since then, ICNA Relief has responded to 57 disasters nationwide. He was a longtime ICNA volunteer prior to joining ICNA Relief.

Br. Abdul Rauf Khan serves as Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) of ICNA Relief USA. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the prestigious University of Karachi.  His 10 plus years of community service and dedication with ICNA Relief has earned him and the organization numerous recognitions at the federal and local level including the White House Community Service Award (Obama Presidency), FEMA, APPNA, World Cares Center, Broward County Florida, Miami Dade CORE, President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation. He has completed many training courses most notably with FEMA – Interagency Logistics training at the Emergency Management Institute;  American Red Cross – Disaster Services; CERT – Community Emergency Response Team; Miami Dade CORE;  Islamic Social Services Association, Canada – Pre-Marital Counseling Course for Muslims;  Benevolent Vision – Nonprofit Board Training: Fiduciary Duties, Governance, Fiscal Accountability, and Compliance;  NDIN – Certified chaplaincy for disaster spiritual care, field operations, disaster mental health, and self-care. Professional Development Workshop for Educators by Georgetown University .

Br. Altaj Ilyas serves as the Chief Financial Officer for ICNA Relief. He has 28 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, of which 19 years he gained in the nonprofit world. He is responsible for the financial management of ICNA Relief. He has studied CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) and Corporate Secretarial Practices. Br. Altaj has also been serving as a Treasurer of NYDIS (New York Disaster Interfaith Services) for the last 11 years.
