Job Title: Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating, developing, designing and executing creative designs that reflects ICNA Relief’s brand and supports our organizational growth. This will include all graphic and digital content for marketing materials, all promotional items, event flyers, brochures and reports as well as any needs for graphic design for the website.
Uses software programs and innate creativity to develop visual material
Creates all organizational graphic content including event flyers, brochures, website banners and graphics for social media for use in print and digital
Creates and edit all videos for various ICNA Relief events and programs
Lead the planning, strategy and direct photo shoots for various print and digital projects
Participates in the core marketing team brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh new ideas for videos, promo materials and marketing items for national campaigns
Be an active contributor to the creative strategy of the marketing department
Gain a deep knowledge of our brand and produce digital content to highlight the brand
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee needs to be available during the core work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Graphic Design preferred but not required)
Minimum 2 years of graphic design experience
Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator and other tools
Photoshop, Illustrator and other graphic design software programs
Strong understanding and experience using WordPress
Strong graphic design, photography and videography skills
Excellent skills creating/producing/and editing videos and clips
Creative and Analytical Skills
Strong attention to detail and layout
Time Management Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable in handling new challenges and adjusting to shifting priorities
Comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields required
At least 3 years of experience in graphic and digital design
Legal Status & Work Authorization
The candidate applying to join ICNA Relief must have a legal status, social security number and work authorization by the relevant US authorities. The candidate by virtue of applying for this position authorizes ICNA Relief for his/her Background Check, reference check and a Medical Exam on need basis.
