Hurricane Florence has Passed and the Survivors Need our Help!
Imagine waiting waiting six hours for gas after being forced to evacuate into a shelter after a hurricane.
On top of that, coal ash sites along the rivers of North Carolina are spilling ash known to have toxic heavy metals. New reports state that "record-setting, still-rising floods covering much of eastern North Carolina are preventing a comprehensive assessment of Hurricane Florence’s damage."
As our mobile clinic heads towards areas affected by Hurricane Florence, please keep the people we help in your prayers. Currently, New York, Georgia and Virginia have or are currently collecting in kind donations.
These efforts give our neighbors hope when they need it most. The smallest donation you make can make a life changing impact. These actions will also symbolize what our faith teaches us and will help change many of the misconceptions people have about our Islamic faith. In fact this may be the 1st time they meet or receive help from a Muslim, a truly opportune moment to show our neighbors who we really are and what we stand for. A moment of love, unity and humanity.
Please do your part and volunteer or donate today to help fund our relief efforts.
