OUR MODEL AND COMMITMENT:
Shifa Clinic is a place where patients are treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Our collaboration enables a strong and trusting relationship with providers and staff. It’s not a final destination, but instead, it is a model for achieving primary care excellence so that care is received in the right place, at the right time, and in the manner that best suits a patient’s needs.
Patient Centered: A partnership among practitioners, patients, and their families ensures that decisions respect patients’ wants, needs, and preferences, and that patients have the education and support they need to make decisions and participate in their own care. Patients are given the opportunity to choose and follow provider of choice.

ABOUT THE CLINIC:
Thank you for your interest in Shifa Clinic and for providing us with an opportunity to serve you. Shifa Clinic is based on Islamic teachings of compassion and service. The word shifa means “healing” in Arabic.
Shifa Clinic Duluth, established in 2008, by the ICNA Relief USA, is a non-profit and tax exempt organization. We are a member of the National Association of Free Clinics and Georgia Charitable Care Network (GCCN).
Our free clinic project is about connecting with humanity and serving to the best of our ability. Faith on its own is unstable unless translated into practice. One of the most important aspects of faith is charity and giving to others their due. This charity can be your knowledge, time, money, or your physical abilities. All of a person’s faculties are given to him as a trust from God, for the benefit of his/her own self and other creatures of our universe. It is a Muslim’s duty to not only care for his/her own needs but also the needs of others with a warm heart and without a bias or discrimination.
Shifa Clinic offers health services on every Saturday from 10am – 2pm.
Our clinic provides compassionate quality primary health care to the residents of our communities who do not have health insurance and cannot pay for such services, as well as underinsured individuals.
