Women's mode of sajda as compared to that of men
. Asalaam-u-Alaikum
We have been taught that women's Sajda is performed in a different
way, from men. In Sajda they say, that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)
has asked women to prostrate by sitting on the legs , and taking
the feet out on the right side. And resting the arms on the ground,
and thighs touching the chest. Is this way of performing the Sajda
right for women, and has our Prophet (P.B.U.H) taught women to perform
Rukoo, Sujood and the whole prayer differently from men? As Sajda
is the most important part of the prayer, kindly reply as soon as
possible.

Dear Brother
Assalamu Alaykum In his I'laau-Sunan, al-Tahanawi stated that Umar
said that a woman in sujud should be resting her arms on the ground,
and her thighs should be touching her chest. vol, 2, p. 747

Changing the prescribed timing of salat and/or making up missed
salat
Assalamu-Alaikum:
I have certain doubts about certain Fard we follow in Islam and
it would be very kind of U if U could help me clear my doubts as
soon as possible .The doubts are as folows:1. In a Fard Namaz of
more than 2 Rakats is it necessary not to read any Sura after Sura
Fateah, and if so why? 2.As we can read Nama Kazah why can't we
read a Namaz before its time due to our need of going out during
that time of the Namaz and our bility to read it at its specified
time. To make myself more clear, suppose it is 5.00pm which is usually
the time of Ashar Namaaz. I can't read the Magribh Namaaz at its
allotted time of 6.35pm as I have to go at 6.00pm. So my question
is can I read the magrib Namaaz somewhere at 5.45pm making a Niyaat
of Magribh Namaaz. Thanking U in anticipation, Your Brother, Shujaat
Dear Khurram
Assalamu Alaykum It is a well known established principle in Islam
that any kind of ibadah or physical worship prescribed to be done
in a specified time, day, or number cannot be done otherwise. In
most cases, you can't rationally perceive the wisdom behind this
principle. For example why are Zuhr, Asr and Esha prayers 4 rak'ats,
while Maghrib namaz consists of 3 and Fajr is only 2.? I don't think
any one can give the logic behind it other than, it's a command
from Allah and we have to obey it and that is KMALIL 'Ubudiyya.(
truthful service to God) Similarly, no one can make any changes
to them.
