AL QURAN

O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), who has created you As well as those before you; Do so that you are saved. AL_HADITH

Narrated Sahl: The Prophet said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

Topic: Working at the Bank.

Marhaba!, I'm a 20 years old girl from Syria but I live in Switzerland. I work at the bank of credit and have of-course an account here. Is it "haram" to work with credits and have interests of my account?

Dear Hala Assalamu Alaykum May Allah bless you and continue to show the right path and help you to follow it. Sister Hala, try to find another job that does not involve riba. For time being you can continue working until you get a halal job. You have to hate in your heart that you are taking interest. What you should do with the interest? Give it to a needy Muslim or any Islamic Center without telling anyone that this is interest money. Finally, I have to mention to you that some scholars hold that a Muslim can take interest in non-Muslim country. But I do not agree with that.
